Text Only

It's possible to switch this site into "text only" mode, which removes all graphics. The text only link is at the top of the left menu bar. Once you've clicked it, the page will be in a no graphic state.

The text only version of the site can be useful if you find the standard text hard to read. It's also faster to load, so if you are using slower internet connection, pages will appear faster in text only mode.

Once in text only mode, it is possible to skip all content with the skip to navigation link. This takes you directly to the links which are placed at the bottom of the page.

Font size

You can change the size of the text on our pages. This can be done in your web browser as well as on the site.

To do this on the site, there is a pre-defined increased size which can be accessed by pressing the larger text button above the left menu

In Internet Explorer for Windows, go to the View menu, then Text Size, then choose a size.

In Firefox for Windows, go to the View menu, Text Size then Increase.

In Safari for an Apple Macintosh computer, click View, then Make Text Bigger.

If you're using a different web browser you can check the help instructions for your browser to find out how to enlarge text.

Access Keys

To use an access key you have to press a combination of keys dependant on browsers.

Mozilla Firefox - press shift+alt+(access key) followed by enter to navigate to the appropriate page

Internet Explorer - press alt+(access key) followed by enter to navigate to the appropiate page

Opera - press shift+esc to bring up a list of access keys then press the appropriate key to navigate to it.
